Network Management Capabilities

NetStar's network monitoring and management services provide a single view into a wide range of IP networking technologies

When something goes wrong, the key to fast resolution is having all the information in one place. So, nVisage holds not just device details, but third party information, such as Telco service numbers, contact information and maintenance details.

More importantly, our approach doesn't end with managing individual devices. nVisage provides a high-level status of the overall network, and the ability to drill down to individual devices and device components. Based on the type of fault and device criticality, the business rules embedded in nVisage determine what action NetStar's engineers should take, and who gets contacted.

So, the Action Policy for a core device may be to contact the Network Manager immediately in the case of any fault. While for a remote office router, any fault outside business hours should be resolved without any customer notification.
