NetStar has significant expertise in planning, deploying and supporting secure data and voice network environments. We provide solutions around a wide range of technologies, including LAN/WAN, wireless networking, VPN/remote access, Firewall/IDS and Unified Communications.
While we have dedicated security and IP telephony technical specialists, our philosophy is that these technologies need to be addressed holistically. A network refresh needs to be designed with current (or future) telephony needs in mind. Conversely, the success of any IP telephony roll-out depends on the quality and resilience of the underlying network. Security can’t be addressed in isolation – good security practice means embedding reactive and proactive security elements into the network.
